With the hype surround “the Cloud” and the rush that seems to be occurring to achieve solutions that are “Cloud ready” we have been looking at the options we have and it seems to be clear that there are three main players: Microsoft (Azure), IBM (Websphere) and Amazon with each company approaching it in from a different direction. IBM have a strong hardware focus while Microsoft is coming from a software platform with managed hardware that is transparent.

The decision as to which Cloud platform we end up on is based on the peripheral support and advantages that the support company brings and that includes the marketing and network facilities to increase sales from below the bottom line.

The Final day at WPC was another good day with excellent contacts. One potential Partner has already introduced us to an end user client and we had a meeting in San Diego to discuss their requirement.

We have received other emails asking for quotations for systems in both Italy and Germany…We will be responding to those just as soon as possible…

Other keen interest came from as far afield as Vietnam, Singapore & Canada.

Overall WPC was a great exprience and a great way to launch Nomadic into the world of True Enterprise Mobility.

As a result of being at the conference, we have received a number of direct enquiries from end users and a host of VAR enquiries.

Forbes and Martin did a presentation to a San Diego company for a 60 user solution on Friday afternoon. We also had further firm enquiries for a 50 user system from a Californian company and a small 5 user to Blackberry system from Germany.

The Nomadic Software Enterprise Mobility solution continues to attract huge interest. It has justified our faith in going that extra mile to build a solution that is above and beyond anything else on offer as far as delivering true Enterprise Mobility is concerned.

The future looks very bright indeed.

What a fantastic week at WPC-Incredible interest from the Partner community in Nomadic’s Enterprise Mobility solution. Our unique proposition ensuring Mobile workers are not remote workers, from accessing their key business data, whilst away from the corporate network has ensured we have some excellent prospects to follow-up.

It’s going to be a busy few weeks ahead as our App starts to become accepted as the only truly mobile enterprise mobility solution.

We are really pleased with the way the booth turned out and even more pleased with the attention it’s received. WPC has been a great event for Nomadic and we’ll be posting a full report next week.

Interest in our Enterprise Mobility solution ranged from an Italian based ERP system for SMB’s to a company requiring a a 10k seat solution for full and true Enterprise Mobilty. This is potentially great news for Nomadic Software!

There have been other significant expressions of interest from the Partner community for providing Live Relevant Business Data solutions, so mobile workers are not remote when away from their corporate network.

I’ll report back on further developments from WPC tomorrow.

It was a great first day at WPC in LA. We are seeing incredible interest in our Enterprise Mobility Solutions.

Many Potential Partners from across the globe have been talking to us about our Enterprise Mobility Solutions. The winning aspect of our solution that captures peoples attention is that fact we are Not a Remote Desktop solution, Not Remote Desktop, Not a Thin Client but a True stand alone App.

People are interested in our ability to operate via GPRS and Wi-Fi simultaniously and operate with no network connection to the backend.
