The NCS is a middleware server platform between the core Enterprise Management System and the mobile device providing the following functionality:
Data Translation
The NCS manages two way data transfer between the Mobile App and the Enterprise Management system, translating mobile information into a format that can be imported to a management system.
Mobile Device Access
A download App requires to be registered by the NCS. A registration code will be mailed and once entered, will send a registration request to the NCS. If verified then the NCS will synchronise all standing data to the database within the App.
Mobile Security
Security is maintained by ensuring that the core management system is never exposed outside the Enterprise domain.
The NCS compresses and encrypts all data to and from the mobile App and will only respond to data tagged with the MAC address of registered mobile devices.
Data security is also maintained with the App. The NCS will manage role hierarchy with a individual enterprise.
The information flow is detailed in the above diagram. And the NCS, using a series of transposition factors is able to take the information from the tablet device and convert it into a language understood by the ERP system.
